The universal All-in-One Axagon ADSA-FP3 FASTport3 adapter features a USB 3.0 and SATA 6G interface, allowing for easy connection to any SATA hard drives or devices. It supports all types of 2.5" HDDs/SSDs, 3.5" hard drives, and 5.25" optical CD, DVD, or Blu-ray drives. This adapter works with all SATA, SATA II, and SATA III hard drives without limiting the maximum capacity. The current SATA III / 6G interface enables the use of modern SSD speeds. Additionally, it reads S.M.A.R.T. information to monitor the condition of the connected drives. The adapter supports the shutdown of both the connected drives and itself. Installation is straightforward; simply connect the hard drive to the adapter and the adapter to the computer's USB port, and the rest happens automatically. The adapter with a 2.5" HDD/SSD is powered directly through the USB bus, eliminating the need for an external power supply.
