Audeze LCD-MX4

Thanks to the use of magnesium for the housing and carbon fibre for the headband, the LCD-MX4 is around 30% lighter than other LCD models. Thanks to its relatively light weight and memory foam ear pads for a perfect fit, the headphones are comfortable to wear even during long listening or mastering sessions. Powered by Audeze's patented Fluxor magnets, the LCD-MX4 achieves 1.5 Tesla of magnetic force on the lightweight diaphragm with a 20 Ohm impedance. This makes the LCD-MX4 perfect for use with laptops or mixing consoles without the need for an additional headphone amplifier. The sound stage simulates the studio situation and the high sensitivity of 105 dB/1mW allows it to be used with a wide variety of mixing consoles or audio interfaces. Audeze also offers Reveal, a set of free plug-ins that are perfect for mastering and mixing with the LCD-MX4 headphones. Reveal is compatible with most digital audio workstations (DAWs) and is available in VST/AU/AAX format for PC and Mac.
