Audeze LCD-3

In developing the LCD-3, Audeze made no compromises regarding sound quality. The LCD-3 is a headphone for the highest quality demands, with unparalleled bass reproduction, the finest high-frequency representation, and, according to the manufacturer, the best mid-range. The music thus sounds exactly like the original studio recording. All Audeze headphones are completely handcrafted in the Audeze workshop in California. A special alloy is used for the conductor traces of the diaphragm, which provides even more precision and less distortion. From the factory, the transducers are precisely measured and selected in pairs. This leads to a maximum left-right deviation of only +/- 0.5 dB. The Fazor technology developed by Audeze improves the control of music flow within the headphones. The result is an improved phase response, an extended frequency range upwards and downwards, a smooth frequency response, and a remarkably three-dimensional spatial reproduction. The decorative luxurious zebra wood (Zebrano) with its soft transitions from light to dark gives the LCD-3 its very own style. The extra soft lambskin ear pads and the light, airy steel and leather headband make wearing the LCD-3 comfortable even during long listening sessions. Included in the delivery are a transport case and a headphone cable with an XLR connector, as well as an XLR to 6.3 mm adapter.
