ASUS Rampage V Edition 10

The ASUS Rampage V Edition 10 is a highly equipped X99 motherboard, ideal for the powerful extreme processors of the Core i7-6000 series with their 6, 8, or even 10 cores. The black board features RGB lighting and includes eight DIMM slots for up to 128 GB of DDR4 memory in super-fast quad-channel mode. The sound chip is the ROG SupremeFX 2014, supported by high-quality ELNA capacitors, capable of outputting 7.1 sound via five audio jacks and an optical S/PDIF connection.

This E-ATX board provides four USB 3.1 ports, twelve USB 3.0 ports, and eight USB 2.0 ports (partly external and partly internal) and manages hard disks and SSDs via ten SATA 6G ports (including RST and partial RAID support) as well as one U.2 port and one M.2 slot. Expansion cards can be accommodated with one PCIe 2.0 x4 slot or one PCIe 2.0 x1 slot each. For graphics cards, four PCI Express slots are available in the standard version 3.0.

The ASUS Rampage V Edition 10 also features an integrated Wi-Fi interface and a Bluetooth module that supports the fast ac-WLAN standard, along with Gigabit LAN. It includes many practical on-board overclocking features such as "DIGI+ VRM 8-phase design," "USB Boost," "5-Way Optimization," "Fan Xpert 3," a UEFI BIOS, good passive chipset cooling, and many other useful features.

The motherboard is equipped with Aura RGB LEDs and an RGB LED header for connecting RGB LED strips directly to the motherboard, with lighting controlled by Aura software. Another highlight of the ASUS Rampage V Edition 10 motherboard is the ROG SupremeFX HD audio codec, ensuring first-class sound quality. Additionally, it comes with an ASUS 3T3R dual-band Wi-Fi module and a SupremeFX HiFi front panel, which is mounted in an external 5.25 drive bay of the case.
