The ASRock X670E Taichi Carrara is equipped with the high-end X670E chipset for AMD's Ryzen 7000 series processors and offers numerous features for enthusiasts and gamers. The Ryzen 7000 processors require a new socket due to support for PCIe 5.0 and enhanced power delivery, which is why the AM5 socket (LGA 1718) is used on the 600 series motherboards. Despite the increased pin count of AM5, the actual size of the socket remains the same as the older generation, allowing most CPU coolers designed for the AM4 socket to be mounted on the motherboard. With features like a BIOS FlashBack button and voltage regulators with 24+2+1 phases, the ASRock X670E Taichi Carrara is well-suited for overclocking and gaming. The integrated 2.5 Gbit/s LAN connection and Wi-Fi enable lightning-fast internet connectivity, allowing even the largest files to be downloaded in just a few minutes.
