Due to the unique electrical architecture of DDR5 DIMMs, there is a high risk of damaging the memory module if the power supply is not properly interrupted during removal or installation. To prevent this, ASRock has implemented a fault-tolerant protection circuit on every DDR5 motherboard, reducing the risk of damage to the memory module.
