Product details
Arduino Opta is a secure, easy-to-use micro PLC with industrial IoT capabilities. Developed in collaboration with Finder, a leading manufacturer of devices for industrial and building automation, it enables professional users to expand their automation projects while leveraging the benefits of the open and widely recognized Arduino ecosystem. Thanks to its processing power, Arduino Opta supports a wide range of real-time control, monitoring, and predictive maintenance applications. Take advantage of the many available software libraries for quick deployment. The integrated security element ensures over-the-air firmware updates and remote control via the Arduino Cloud or third-party services.
By integrating a load cell or an image processing system, Arduino Opta can manage the entire flow of goods in production. In an automated filling plant, for example, it can ensure that each container holds the correct amount of liquid. Additionally, it can verify that each box contains the desired number of bottles.
Arduino Opta can synchronize the clock using the Network Time Protocol (NTP) and automatically interact with production line printers to obtain this information on the product packaging. Production data can be visualized locally via an HMI or even through a Bluetooth Low Energy connection to the Arduino Opta. The simplicity of Arduino Cloud allows for remote display of custom dashboards. This product is also compatible with other major cloud providers.
