The Arduino MKR WAN 1300 has been designed to provide a practical and cost-effective solution for makers who want to expand their projects with LoRa connectivity and minimal networking experience. It is based on the Atmel SAMD21 and a Murata CMWX1ZZABZ LoRa module.
The design includes the ability to power the board with two 1.5 V AA or AAA batteries or an external 5 V source. The switch from one source to another occurs automatically. The Arduino MKR WAN 1300 can be operated with or without connected batteries and has a limited power consumption.
