To connect the individual components of a water cooling circuit, choosing the right fittings and having an adequate number of them is essential. Otherwise, installation can quickly turn into a frustrating experience if assembly fails due to incorrect or insufficient connectors, causing delays. However, perfectionists pay attention not only to pure functionality. The appearance must also be right, even for a tiny part like a water cooling fitting. This nickel-plated version meets those design demands – pure brass is a thing of the past. Now, regarding the fitting itself: this is a straight G1/4 inch screw fitting for 13/10mm hoses (10mm inner diameter, 13mm outer diameter) with a nut. This attachment allows the hose to be secured and released very quickly while holding firmly in place. An O-ring on the side of the G1/4 inch screw fitting prevents water loss. With an appropriate hex key, the fitting can be tightened further. Compared to the standard version, this model is slightly darker, features the mentioned hexagonal ring instead of continuous knurling, has a longer tip, and also a longer thread.
