Kindle Paperwhite Kids features a 6.8-inch (17.3 cm) black-and-white display (300 ppi) with no mirroring and up to 10 weeks of battery life. For many books, font size and font style are customizable to personal preferences and abilities. In addition, the optional "OpenDyslexic" font is available, which some readers with reading and spelling difficulties prefer. Kids can take Kindle Paperwhite Kids to the pool or beach to read. Kindle Paperwhite Kids has been tested to withstand the effects of brief accidental immersion in water. Light with Adjustable Color Temperature - so kids can read comfortably indoors and outdoors, during the day and in the evening.

Amazon Kindle with Special Offer

The Special Offer model displays sponsored screensavers and banner ads directly on the screen. The Special Offers are displayed as a screensaver when the Kindle eReader is in sleep mode. The Special Offer banners are also displayed at the bottom of the Home screen on the Kindle eReader.
