Product details
The Euphonia produces an euphoric sound with digital purity and analog richness, unlike anything heard before from a DJ mixer. To deliver clearer sound quality that accurately reflects the expression of music, the Euphonia employs high-quality 32-bit A/D and D/A converters, as well as 96 kHz/64-bit floating-point mixing processes in the DSP, utilizing digital signal processing technology that AlphaTheta has developed over many years.
All sound emanating from the Euphonia is routed through a transformer circuit developed by AlphaTheta and Rupert Neve Designs, the legendary manufacturer of outstanding analog audio circuits and mixing consoles, revered by artists and sound engineers worldwide. This transformer circuit, specifically tuned for the Euphonia, adds harmonics to the music and creates a radiant, energetic sound that is ideal for mixing. Low frequencies like kicks and bass are more stable and powerful, mid frequencies like vocals and instruments have greater presence and brilliance, and high frequencies like hi-hats sound silky and natural. The transformer blurs the line between vintage live and modern electronic sounds, making mixing easier and surprisingly natural, as if recordings in different styles have always been a single piece of music.
The specially designed rotary fader ensures that you feel at one with your music. When you touch the faders of the Euphonia, you won’t want to let go. To enhance the intuitive mixing experience, the device is equipped with carefully developed rotary pots that give you the sensation of being one with the mixer. After extensive testing, the perfect knob sizes were meticulously determined. An elastomer on the outer side provides a comfortable and reliable grip, along with high vibration damping.
