The MPD226 is a USB MIDI pad controller, perfect for producers, sound designers, musicians, and DJs. By fusing intuitive MPC control and easy USB connectivity, the MPD226 combines the feel of a classic drum machine with the world of computer-based music production.
Experience the difference: The new Thick Fat MPC Pads are very sensitive and react immediately to user input. The MPD226 features four knobs, four faders, and four buttons with three banks of buttons—36 controls in total, compared to 12 on the MPD26—allowing you to get the best sound and precise control over effects. MIDI data is transferred to your Mac or PC via the plug-and-play USB interface without the need to install any drivers.
Extras: Not only have we refined the general functionality, but with the Camera Connection Kit (sold separately), the MPD series is now also iOS compatible. Also included is a software package worth around €400 (Big Bang Drums and Big Bang Cinema from Sonivox, Ableton Live Lite, and a software preset editor).
