Adhere the heatsink securely with the 3M thermal tape. It has been specifically designed for attaching heatsinks to ICs. It works better and is less messy than thermal adhesives or pastes, as the thickness is evenly distributed across the entire area. A perfect addition to our range of small heat sinks, available in either aluminum or copper.
It is supplied in a square of 25 mm x 25 mm (1" square) but can be cut into any shape and size.
