Product details

The NeoPixel ring features 12 ultra-bright Smart LEDs arranged in a ring with an outer diameter of 37 mm. The rings can be chained together, allowing each individual LED to be controlled by just a single microcontroller pin, as each LED can be addressed individually through its internal driver chip. Each LED has a current driver for a constant 18 mA, ensuring very uniform colors even with varying voltage. This design is powered by 5 V DC and is compact, as no external ballast resistors are required.
