Die Western Digital WD30EFRX Red 3 TB ist mit ihren 1,0 Sone sehr leise. Mit den Transferraten von 111,5 MB/s beim Schreiben und Lesen überzeugt die Festplatte von sich. Auch der GB-Preis stimmt. Der GB kostet umgerechnet 5 Cent. Die Speicherkapazität beträgt 3-TB.
Der Hersteller verspricht bei dieser Platte so einiges, kann dies in der Praxis jedoch nur begrenzt einhalten. Die Performance ist insgesamt nur sehr mittelmäßig, wobei die geringen Verbrauchswerte, die Arbeitslautstärke und auch die geringe Temperatur für Pluspunkte sorgt.
