Why you should get ankle shackles

After the bumbag, guess which 90s accessory is poised for resurgence? The ankle bracelet.
There are fashion trends that – once gone – you hope to never see again. And then suddenly, they reappear like a phoenix from the ashes. In my opinion, ankle bracelets are one of those trends. They became fashionable in the 90s and disappeared shortly after. I admit to wearing one for a short time. It was a summer flirt, so to speak. One that I got over very quickly. And now, years later, anklets are making a comeback.
Jingling
Delicate or dangling – there's no way around anklets this year. Fashion bloggers often go for shell-decorated versions, which they proudly parade on their holiday snapshots. Keep in mind: The flashier your anklet, the subtler your nail polish should be. If both are bright and colourful, it will look «too much».

As you can see, this isn’t just a holiday trend but also suitable for your urban fashion moments. Combine your anklet with sneakers, mules or sandals and they'll look just as cute as when you wear them barefoot. The current street style favourite – and probably one of the most surprising pairings – is the anklet combo with black Vans. Carry that little piece of summer on your ankle into the autumn months.
