Wall decorations with beetles and birds - beastly good or yuck?
Looking for new ideas to decorate your walls? The "Maison & Objet" accessories and furniture fair has them for you. In the form of little crawlers.
As every year, the "Maison & Objet" has just unveiled the latest international home accessories and furniture designs at the Villepinte exhibition centre and a parcour in the heart of Paris. I had a look around for you. This time, I also discovered many decorative objects that will really mix up your interior. Including a colourful butterfly and a sexy beetle.
Animals as wall decoration
Picture frames certainly set the tone in a room. However, in comparison to the two-winged creatures at the "Maison & Objet", they seem almost drab to me. Because there, it was stylish butterflies like those from Mambo Unlimited Ideas that enlivened every stand wall, no matter how bare, with their colourful wings.
The white flocks of ceramic birds from Monochromic Ceramic also had a dynamic effect. As if they could fly through the ceiling at any moment. Maybe it's because, unlike a rather kitschy wall tattoo, they are three-dimensional.

Other popular eye-catchers were less agile animals: owls, bees and beetles that take a break on the wall shelf or hang out on the wall as a group. Despite their retracted wings, they provide a nice splash of colour and brighten up the surrounding furnishings.

Some of the decorative animals on display, such as those from VP Interiorismo, have a particularly multi-faceted surface. Almost as if they were inspired by origami. They lend the walls a certain lightness, even though they are made of ceramic instead of paper.

In contrast, the wooden birds from Mahe Homeware provide warmth. With their grain and brown colour, even a white wall immediately becomes something special. I have also found some wall objects with animal motifs in our range. They all make you want to try something new - in every room.
