Wall decoration of a different kind

The new motifs in the collection of the Dutch brand "Ixxi" encourage you to make a change.

Ixxi makes art accessible to everyone. In collaboration with partners such as the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam and the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, new editions of classics are created for the home. They don't try to be a copy, but stand for themselves: each picture is put together with square pieces of cardboard like a puzzle.

An alternative to canvases and picture frames

Have you always wanted to cross a Star Wars character with Mickey Mouse? Then there are no limits to your imagination thanks to the flexible system 😉. "X"-shaped parts, which can be attached to the wall with counterparts, form the connection for the individual cards. This means that motifs can be changed and combined as required. In this video you can see how the assembly works:

To ensure that you can enjoy the prints for a long time, the Dutch brand uses 0.3 millimetre thick cards made from the synthetic paper called Synaps. It is characterised by tear resistance, water and UV resistance. Nevertheless, it should not be exposed to UV light for long periods of time to ensure lasting colour intensity. Ixxi wants to ensure that its ecological footprint remains small with this and with its largely local production.
