Vibrators tested by «Kassensturz»: These models have women buzzing

Adult toys have long shed their seedy image. It is estimated that every second woman in Switzerland owns a vibrator. Reason enough for Swiss consumer magazine «Kassensturz» to put some of these love wands to the acid test. Keep reading to find out how the toys were tested and which models were rated «good».
Consumer magazine «Kassensturz» put them to the test – the eight «bestselling conventional vibrators». The products underwent two kinds of tests: a practical one and a test carried out in a lab.
Testing method
For the practical test, five women took a closer look at the vibrators. They rated the user manual, vibration levels, programme profile, sound volume, surface finish and, most importantly, how happy the effect of the vibrator made them. On a more technical side, the vibrators were scrutinized in a German lab. They were tested for lifespan, vibration strength, sound volume, manufacturing quality and water resistance .
The results
Rated «good»
The most expensive model was also rated best in test. It features ten vibration levels and was commended by the testers for its pleasant surface: «Mona Wave Black» by Lelo scored 4.9. In second place, scoring 4.8 and also rated «good», is the model «Deep Within» by Fifty Shades of Grey. This model impresses with seven vibration modes, strong vibration and easy handling.
Rated «satisfactory»
The Womanizer «2 go» lost points because of water damage and scored an overall 4.7. The model «Little Paul» by Fun Factory scored 4.6. Three of the tested vibrators scored a 4.5. They are «Intense Real Pleasure» by Durex, «Bgood Deluxe Curve» by bswish and «Tennis Coach» by Smile Makers.
Rated «unsatisfactory»
The only vibrator that did not cut it is the «Basic» model by Nanma. It disappointed in terms of looks and in the practical test.
