Vacuum mopping robot "Tapo RV50 Pro Omni" from TP-Link now available from us
The "Tapo RV50 Pro Omni" vacuums and mops in a single pass. Dual laser navigation guides it through the home, an anti-tangle system cuts through coiled hair and the Omni station even checks how strong the mop water smells and how dirty it is.
The «Tapo RV50 Pro Omni» from TP-Link picks up dust and dirt in a single operation using a suction nozzle and mop pad. And then cleans itself in its base station. If you prefer, you can also have it vacuum or mop only.

Fifteen thousand Pa and rotating double mops
According to the manufacturer, the robot vacuums with up to 15,000 Pa. Instead of a single vibrating mop, two mop pads rotate across the floor. The mopping unit extends sideways to reach edges and narrow areas. A tank with a volume of 95 millilitres (equivalent to an espresso) keeps the pads evenly moist during cleaning. If the robot detects a carpet, it lifts the pads or places them completely in the station before moving on.
Anti-tangle system for households with pets
Hair tends to get tangled in the main brush of a robot hoover. The «RV50 Pro Omni» is designed to prevent this with a three-part anti-tangle system. The «Tangle-Free-Cutting-Brush» has an integrated blade that cuts through tangled hair when docking at the station and sucks it in directly. According to the manufacturer, the side brush also hardly gets tangled, nor does the swivel castor.
The Omni station does almost everything
The base station forms the core of the cleaning process. It empties the robot's dust container into a three-litre dust bag, washes the mop pads with hot water at 60 degrees, then dries them with warm air at 50 degrees and refills the cleaning agent itself.
An integrated deodorising module is designed to prevent the dirty water in the four-litre waste water tank from smelling. The fresh water tank holds five litres. The station also recognises how dirty the mop water is and decides for itself whether to start another wash and mop cycle.
Dual laser navigation and perfect fit mode
For navigation, the «RV50 Pro Omni» combines a 360-degree LiDAR laser tower with two additional lasers at the front and side, which are designed to detect obstacles in real time. LiDAR stands for Light Detection and Ranging. This is an active measurement method that emits laser pulses and measures the time of flight of the reflected light in order to detect distances and three-dimensional structures. Cleaning schedules, no-go zones, floor types, water quantity and suction power can be set via the app.
The Perfect Fit mode analyses the room and adjusts the cleaning path and mode. Areas that the robot recognises as particularly susceptible to dirt (such as corridors) are processed with increased suction power. If the appliance works on several floors, the app saves these as separate maps.
Matter, Alexa and Google Assistant
The «Tapo RV50 Pro Omni» supports Matter and can therefore be integrated into many home networks. It also works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It can primarily be controlled via the app using Wi-Fi.
