The perfect between-seasons jacket

Surprisingly, the current fashion trend was not inspired by the streets of Milan or the like but by mountaineers. They’ve been sporting fleece jackets for ages.
If you’re anything like me, and this weather is tempting you to slip into your summer clothes, go ahead. However, you will need to be creative when putting your outfit together. To be able to brave the cold mornings, I was on the search for a jacket that would keep me warm without giving me that bulky winter fashion look. I made a find with models made of fleece. Their casual-athletic look create a great contrast to floral dresses and the like. Yes, you read right. I drew inspiration not only from mountaineering but also from the catwalks, where these outdoor jackets have been paraded up and down for this year’s spring/summer shows. Seeing fleece jackets matched with designer pieces finally convinced me.
Casual chic
If you'd told me a year ago that I’d warm to fleece jackets one day, I'd have vehemently shaken my head. Sadly, I wrongfully rejected them all this time. When combined with the right outfit, these heat-insulating functional jackets look really cool. And it’s not surprising that fleece has become fashionable. Remember the preceding hype around hiking boots and trekking sandals? But there’s one fashion rule you have to keep in mind here: only go for one outdoor item per outfit. Otherwise you risk being mistaken for a hiker. My tip: combine your fleece with suede boots, leather trousers or a dress. This will give you a surprising and stylish look.
