If you want to paddle, you need a board that suits you. Here is an overview of the models from Mint Lama and Aqua Marina.

Stand-up paddling (SUP) is super popular. You can get active, experience nature and relax at the same time. Mint Lama offers functional boards in various price categories. The range extends from all-round boards to touring variants and family models.

Alpaka 11'0" Marine and Alpaka 11'0" Aqua: all-rounders for recreational paddlers

The Alpaka 11'0" from Mint Lama is an all-round board that is suitable for both beginners and advanced paddlers. It is available in blue (navy) and turquoise (aqua).

The length of 3.35 metres should offer you a good combination of tipping stability and gliding ability. With a width of 81 centimetres, even beginners should be able to stand safely and quickly. With a volume of 310 litres, the board can also carry heavier paddlers.

Mint Lama uses a multi-layer drop-stitch construction for the board, which should make the board particularly stable and stiff. The scope of delivery includes accessories such as a paddle, pump, luggage net and rucksack.

SUPreme 11'6": Touring board for longer distances

The SUPreme 11'6" (3.51 metres) is narrower and longer than the Alpaka. This makes it faster and more directional - and is ideal for touring paddlers, according to the manufacturer. The width of 79 centimetres is still sufficient for a good level of stability, but requires a little more balance than a classic all-round board.

With a volume of 320 litres and a maximum user weight of around 140 kilograms, the board is also suitable for large paddlers or tours with a lot of luggage. The usual accessory set is also included in the scope of delivery.

Family 10'6": the board for children and families

The width of 84 cm makes the Family 10'6" (3.20 metres) the most stable board from Mint Lama. This makes it ideal for beginners who still feel unsure on the water. Children should also be able to use the board without any problems. It also offers enough space for smaller tours or short trips for two.

The scope of delivery includes the usual accessories.

Adventourer 11'6": Touring board with additional width

The Adventourer is a hybrid between an all-round board and a touring board. It offers the length and glide of a touring model, but at 84 cm is significantly wider than many comparable boards. This means the board remains stable, but is still suitable for longer tours.

With a volume of 330 litres and a load capacity of up to 150 kg, it offers plenty of space according to the manufacturer - even for luggage or heavy paddlers.

Alternative for beginners: Pure Air from Aqua Marina

In addition to the models from Mint Lama, the Pure Air from Aqua Marina could also be of interest to you - especially if you are looking for an affordable entry-level model.

The Pure Air is aimed at beginners who want to paddle occasionally and are looking for an easy-to-handle board. It is lighter and more compact than the boards from Mint Lama. It measures 3.10 metres in length and 76 centimetres in width. The board is suitable for people weighing up to 110 kilograms. The accessories include a paddle, pump, leash and rucksack.
