The best solution for baggy trouser pockets
The trouser bag is always to hand and therefore ready to go and everyone has some kind of jute bag lying around at home. But that's no reason to use one or the other. There are much nicer alternatives.
My biology teacher had a full beard, pullover and the most stuffed pockets I've ever seen in his jeans. What exactly was stowed in there every day? A mystery to me. If I take a look in my handbag, I'd guess a bunch of keys, handkerchiefs, lip balm, disinfectant, chewing gum and a mobile phone. His may have deviated slightly from my belongings, but they would probably still have similarly bulging trouser pockets.
I praise the practical and, above all, attractive alternatives that are available to both me and Mr Flöter for transporting our belongings. And no, I'm not talking about the jute bag dangling from your wardrobe. "Crossbody bags" is the magic word. They're roomier than your trouser bag, cooler than your jute bag and more special than a run-of-the-mill bum bag.

I don't want to hear anything along the lines of "bags like this are a woman's thing...". Like shoes and sunglasses, bags are for everyone, everyone needs storage space and a colour-coordinated accessory never hurt a look anyway. Even my biology teacher's would have benefited. If you're reading this, Mr Flöter - don't hold it against me.
