The hybrid iron and steam straightener combines both functions in one, so you can smooth clothes quickly and without an ironing board.

Time is pressing, the shirt hangs crumpled on the hanger. It takes too long to get out the ironing board and iron. For this situation, Philips has developed the One Turn

What does One Turn mean?

The device owes its name to the rotating head. This allows you to switch between a horizontal ironing position and vertical steam smoothing. You can freshen up delicate textiles in portrait format directly on the hanger. This setting also allows you to reach fiddly areas such as button plackets. In the horizontal position, the appliance covers a larger area to iron shirts or trousers.

Safety for your textiles

The One Turn uses the «OptimalTemp» technology developed by Philips. This allows you to iron all types of fabric without having to change anything on the appliance. You can switch directly from robust cotton to delicate silk without having to adjust the cooling phase or the control. Philips promises that there will be no burn marks. The «SteamGlide Plus» soleplate is said to allow the appliance to glide effortlessly over fabrics, is easy to clean and resists scratches.

The steam output is a constant 45 grammes per minute. For stubborn creases, you can activate a targeted steam burst of up to 90 grammes per minute.

If the appliance does not move for eight minutes, it switches to stand-by mode. After ten minutes, it disconnects completely from the power supply.

Lightweight and compact for quick straightening

Classic steam irons often weigh around two kilograms. The One Turn weighs just 0.9 kilograms. The removable water tank holds 200 millilitres and, depending on the model, a second tank with 300 millilitres is included. According to the manufacturer, both can also be refilled during operation.

A heat-resistant mat is included. It protects tables, chests of drawers or beds from heat and moisture if you don't have an ironing board.
