The Nutribaby Evolution chops, cooks, blends, warms, and defrosts. With it, you can prepare baby food and snacks for your child in a single device.

Making baby food from fresh ingredients is a lot of work. Cleaning, grating, and pureeing vegetables: in the end, the child is full, but the dishwasher is full too. With the Nutribaby range, the French manufacturer Babymoov aims to take some of this work off your hands. The promise: a meal on the table in ten minutes.

The Evolution model adds a device to the range that also cuts the ingredients itself. It is not just intended for the first few weeks of baby food. Later on, you should also be able to use it to prepare finger food for the whole family.

Two containers for steaming and blending

Two containers sit side-by-side on the base station: a steamer container with a stainless steel steaming basket and a container for blending and cutting. You can use both at the same time, for example, to cook one portion while pureeing a second. The containers have a total capacity of 2100 milliliters, with 1500 milliliters for steaming and 600 milliliters for blending.

You can steam, heat, and defrost food in the steaming container. You set the cooking time via the control panel. Steaming is intended to preserve the nutrients, taste, and texture of the food as much as possible. You can reuse the liquid collected during this process, for example, to cook grains, rice, or pasta, or to thin out a puree that is too thick.

The blending unit works with three settings. For the start of weaning, you could prepare a smooth puree. If you practice "Baby-Led Weaning" with your child, you can use the coarse setting to produce pieces that are large and firm enough.

Cleaning and dimensions

All removable parts are dishwasher safe. The Nutribaby Evolution measures 26 x 27 x 13 centimeters. You can read about how the device performs in everyday life in a detailed review coming soon.
