With its flat housing, the Saros 10 vacuum mopping robot is designed to clean floors thoroughly, even in hard-to-reach places.

The Saros 10 from Roborock is just eight centimetres high. This makes it one of the flattest household robots that combine vacuuming and mopping. Thanks to its low design, it can also manoeuvre under low furniture.

Overcomes door thresholds

According to the manufacturer, the 350 × 353 × 79.8 millimetre device is also able to overcome door thresholds of up to four centimetres in height. The Saros 10 uses a laser system in combination with an RGB camera for navigation. The "Reactive AI 3.0" technology is said to be able to differentiate between various objects and obstacles.

Vacuuming and mopping in combination

According to the manufacturer, the Roborock Saros 10 offers a suction power of 22,000 pascals and has a 6,400 mAh battery, which is said to provide a runtime of up to 220 minutes. Roborock is positioning the robot as the new premium model and successor to the "S8MaxV Ultra".

In contrast to some models with rotating mop pads, Roborock uses a vibrating plate and a side mop as a wet cleaning system for the Saros 10. The mopping plate vibrates at up to 4,000 cycles per minute. According to the manufacturer, this is designed to protect the floor covering.

The robot's dust container holds 270 millilitres, the water tank 70 millilitres.

Docking station ensures more hygiene

The docking station has several functions. It supplies the robot with new energy. The charging time should be around 2.5 hours. It also refuels the appliance with fresh water and removes dirty water and dust.

For these tasks, the station has a four-litre fresh water tank, a 3.5-litre dirty water tank and a 2.5-litre dust container. After mopping, the mop is washed in the station at 80 degrees and then dried at 60 degrees.

Control via app and voice

According to Roborock, you can use the app to control the robot's employees in detail. It can be used to create schedules, define zones for cleaning and edit maps of the surrounding area. Integration into smart home environments is also possible. The robot can then also be controlled via Alexa or Google Assistant.
