New with us: Running apparel from Jack & Jones
From base layer to gloves: The new 'Sport' collection from Jack & Jones consists of pieces that you can layer for runs in autumn and winter.
You start running in the sunshine, and after ten minutes, you're too warm. Half an hour later, it's drizzling, and the wind is cooling down your sweaty shirt. That's when the layering principle helps: if you have too much on, you can open it up or take it off.
Baselayers with long and short sleeves
The base layer of your outfit consists of baselayer shirts. They are made of a blend of 90 percent polyester and ten percent elastane for a good fit. According to Jack & Jones, the fabric is breathable, wicks away moisture, and dries quickly. The slim-fit cut sits close to the body.
For milder days, the baselayer is also available as a short-sleeved T-shirt made from the same material and in the same cut.

On top: the «Flux» half-zip shirt
Over the base layer, you can wear the long-sleeved «Flux Melange High Neck». You can open the high collar with a zipper if you want to let more air reach your body. The double-knit fabric consists of 92 percent polyester and eight percent elastane.
Tights and shorts with inner lining
Like the shirts, the «Baselayer Long Tights» are made of 90 percent polyester and ten percent elastane. The fabric is designed to keep you warm while quickly wicking away sweat. According to the manufacturer, the slim-fit tights are intended for both indoor and outdoor training.
Do you prefer shorts? The «Strata Rib-Stop» model with an integrated inner lining is made of 88 percent nylon and twelve percent elastane. The knit is designed to be breathable. You can adjust the waistband with a drawstring. Pockets at the front and back provide space for keys and a smartphone. The cut is more casual («Loose Fit»).
Accessories: gloves and sunglasses
The «Light Weight Gloves» complete your outfit. On mild days, they should be enough to protect against chilly fingers. If it's bitingly cold, they are thin enough to be worn under other gloves. The one-size-fits-all gloves are made of 90 percent polyester and ten percent elastane.
For sunny runs, there are the «Sport Running Glasses». The lenses have a category 2 tint and protect against UV radiation. However, according to the manufacturer, you should not risk looking directly into the sun while wearing them.

As an addition: trunks in a three-pack
Also new in the shop are jersey fabric trunks in a three-pack. They fit snugly like boxer shorts but are shorter and cut in a regular fit.
