In 2023, the fashion world saw red. Literally. Trends such as the "Strawberry Girl" or "Tomato Girl" aesthetic and red tights the signal colour (to which we have dedicated an entire topic week) unstoppably conquered our hearts and looks.
Now, at the beginning of 2024, not much has changed in our colour preference. Not even the fact that Pantone has proclaimed the peach shade "Peach Fuzz" as the official colour of the new year seems to make you or me itch. Nope, we still want red. Preferably in the form of a bag.

Why are we so permanently drawn to the colour? Well, first and foremost, it can hardly help but attract attention. It also radiates warmth, dynamism, strength and sensuality. Not forgetting the hint of danger that goes with it. There is hardly any other colour that makes such a clear, bold statement.
