Don't give your laundry a basket
by Michael Restin
If you are looking for a laundry basket for dirty laundry, the StoreIt models might be something for you.
Where to put the dirty washing? When my children were still adolescents, the answer was obvious. Simply spread it around the room and trust that a fairy godmother would take care of it. That worked until the mythical creature stopped turning up.
If you want to keep things more organised, put the laundry in a laundry basket instead of on the floor.
Now in stock, you can find a laundry basket from the brand StoreIt, which is available in beige, light grey and black.
The basket measures 56 × 67 × 40 centimetres and has a capacity of 100 litres. This should be enough space for several days' worth of laundry, depending on how many people live in your household and how much laundry you use.
The special feature of this model is the two removable dividers, which you can use to sort your laundry as soon as you put it in. This saves you having to separate them later. The basket is made from a polyester blend with a fabric look. You can close it with the removable lid, which has an integrated handle.
A small detail of the otherwise rather purist design is the textile logo on the side.
If you want to permanently combat dirty laundry lying around, it's best to buy several of these baskets, for example for the bathroom and bedroom.
