How to skilfully display your vases
Of course, you can't do much wrong when decorating with vases. Nevertheless, I bet you can still learn a thing or two from these beautiful role models.
Vases also work effectively as soloists - provided you set the scene for them. Treat vases with or without flowers as objects of art and place them deliberately.
The place
If you see your vases as an arrangement, they need a pedestal on which they can shine. Choose a side table that you don't need at the moment or one that has two levels. That way, you can still use it as a shelf. Alternatively, plant steps or stools are also suitable. The main thing is that all kinds of shapes, from cubic to round vases, can be placed on the furniture and are easier to see thanks to the elevation.

Vases arranged in a row look particularly beautiful on elongated surfaces such as consoles and windowsills. Allow for some overlaps and play with different heights and designs. This will create an eye-catching skyline.

A tray keeps a group together or gives a single vase a place where it looks less lost. Position it prominently on the dining table and a vase - with or without a flower - will no longer be overlooked.

Bring small vases to eye level by placing them on wall shelves. This way they mix up books and co. Floor vases, on the other hand, are usually so large that they don't get lost in corners. To be on the safe side, go for rugs. They serve not only as barefoot flatterers, but also as a presentation surface.

The styling
Your arrangement lives from the style of the individual vessels. Use vases from the same colour family for a harmonious look. Or choose different colour tones but the same material to create a unifying effect.

As we all know, opposites attract: Combine metal, ceramic or glass to your heart's content if one material is too boring for you.

A still life is created together with other objects. Whether plant pots, sculptures or books - there are no limits to your imagination. A fruit bowl can also complement the composition.

If you don't have enough vases for an arrangement, you can also take your carafes and jugs out of the kitchen cupboard and add them to the arrangement.

Use other containers and turn them into platforms for your vases. These could be lanterns or other accessories that are transparent, for example.
