Favourite of the week: Fjällräven bag

I scroll through our fashion range every day. To give you a small but nice overview, I regularly introduce you to a product. Today: a handbag.
My wardrobe is overflowing because I have too much of everything. Backpacks are the only exception. I don't know why I haven't warmed to them yet. Probably because I like to keep an eye on the contents of my bag. A colleague who had the same problem recently bought the Kanken backpack from Fjällräven and is happy with it. I don't (yet) share her euphoria. As I'm not the only one who doesn't like backpacks, the Swedish brand has come up with a new model: "Kanken Sling" is a hybrid of backpack and bag.

The little sister
In terms of design, the similarity to the Kanken is unmistakable. And like the original, the small shoulder bag is made from hard-wearing Vinylon. These are synthetic fibres that function like natural fibres: As soon as they get wet, they puff up. This makes the fabric denser and weatherproof.
Despite its modest dimensions (20 x 15 x 11 centimetres), the mini bag - which even my 5-year-old niece could carry - has adjustable shoulder handles and compartments: The inner pocket of the main compartment with zip fits a smartphone and the side pocket also has enough space for a small tablet. This means you always have your valuables to hand and in view without having to fiddle around with your rucksack.
