Corsair Galleon 100 SD: Keyboard with integrated Stream Deck now available
Your setup grows with every function. Corsair is reversing this trend. The Galleon 100 SD combines keyboard and stream deck in one device.
You juggle between gaming, streaming and working. Next to the keyboard is an external stream deck. There's hardly any room for the mouse. Cables get tangled. Corsair offers a solution with the Galleon 100 SD: a mechanical keyboard with an integrated stream deck.

The Galleon 100 SD replaces the numeric keypad with a fully-fledged stream deck from Elgato, which was previously only available as a separate device. Twelve LCD buttons display individual symbols. Each button can be freely assigned, for example with frequently used functions or complex macros. Two rotary controls with a push function complete the control system. A 5-inch display (12.7 centimetres) with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels shows system information, music data or the stream status.
Integration takes place via the Elgato software. You can create profiles, store macros or switch between different layouts. Smart Profiles recognise active applications and automatically adapt the key assignment to your configured layout if required. The Elgato Marketplace offers ready-made profiles and plugins that provide additional functions for many well-known services.
Technical basis
Corsair uses AXON technology, which enables a polling rate of 8000 Hertz. The keyboard therefore transmits 8000 signals per second, whereas conventional models are usually at 1000 Hertz. The latency drops to 0.125 milliseconds. Corsair's so-called FlashTap SOCD handling is relevant for competitive gaming. This function regulates how the keyboard handles simultaneous, opposing directional inputs. This improves counter-penalising in shooters.
The MLX Pulse Linear Switches are pre-lubricated at the factory. The linear switches are designed to trigger quickly. They have no tactile feedback. Hot-swap support allows replacement with other mechanical switches with a 3- or 5-pin connection. Corsair specifies a service life of 80 million actuations.
Processing and construction
The frame is made of aluminium. The keyboard uses a gasket-mount construction with six damping layers to reduce typing noise. At 2.7 kilograms, it weighs a lot, which is intended to provide stability. A padded palm rest made of artificial leather with memory foam is included. RGB lighting is also integrated.
The connection is made via USB-C. An internal memory makes it possible to save profiles directly on the keyboard. These are also retained when switching between computers.
Software and modes
The Galleon 100 SD offers three operating modes. Hardware mode works without software. You use pre-installed profiles and effects. The web-based mode runs via the Corsair Web Hub. You can customise settings without installing software locally. Stream Deck mode activates the full Elgato functionality via the Stream Deck app.
At launch, keyboard and Stream Deck functions are separated on the software side. Corsair is planning updates for closer integration. Under macOS, the keyboard functions as the standard input device. The extended stream deck functions and high polling rates are reserved for Windows.
