Bed linen made from renewable raw materials from "Coco & Cici"

The Dutch company "Coco & Cici" specialises in bed linen that promises maximum comfort and is good for the environment. We now have them in our shop.
Are you looking for bed linen that is particularly soft and cosy? The collection from «Coco & Cici» uses Tencel, a fibre that is known to be extremely soft.
Bed linen sets made from Tencel
Tencel is a synthetic fibre obtained from sustainably managed wood. It is completely biodegradable. The land consumption per tonne of the material is significantly lower than that of cotton. The plant fibre is breathable, cools in a similar way to linen and feels soft to the touch.

The bed linen sets made from 100 per cent Tencel are available in different sizes: 140 × 220 centimetres for single beds and 200 × 220 and 240 × 220 centimetres for larger beds. Each set includes matching pillowcases measuring 60 × 70 centimetres. The sets, which are washable at 40 degrees, have a so-called hotel fastener instead of buttons or zips. A stitched pocket on the inside holds the bedding in place.
Tensioned sheets also for higher mattresses
The matching fitted sheets are made from the same material. Thanks to the Tencel fibre, they are moisture-regulating and breathable. With a size of 180 × 200 cm, the sheets fit all standard mattress sizes.
The fitted sheet is also suitable for higher mattresses up to 30 centimetres.
Bamboo fitted sheet for toppers
As a sustainable alternative, «Coco & Cici» also offers fitted sheets made from eco-bamboo. Bamboo grows back quickly and also performs well ecologically, as fewer resources are required for its cultivation than for many other materials. In addition, the fibres are also 100 per cent biodegradable.
In contrast to the often rough cotton fibres, bamboo fibres are round and smooth. The fitted sheet for toppers is suitable for mattress toppers with a height of up to ten centimetres and a size of 180 × 200 cm.

Galaxus says:
I own several sets of Tencel cardigans myself and think they're great. They are my clear favourites from spring to late autumn. However, as a frostbite sufferer, I prefer cotton in beaver quality in winter. The hotel fastening is an extra plus. It takes some getting used to at first, but it's a real time saver when changing the bed linen.
