Base layers are cool. And I mean literally. That’s why I never ride my gravel bike without my base layer anymore – one by Castelli, which has become an absolute favourite of mine in recent weeks.

At the beginning of summer, I was on my bike when I had a kind of epiphany: base layers are cool. Literally. I’d heard a lot about them, read about them and watched videos on the subject. And always thought: that doesn’t make any sense. A T-shirt underneath would just make me sweat even more in the summer. Well, I was wrong. It’s exactly the opposite.
