Do you want to improve the air quality in your home? The 2-in-1 Lukas Pro appliance from Stadler promises not only to improve the indoor climate, but also to purify the air at the same time.

Mould in living spaces is a widespread problem. When you shower, cook or hang laundry out to dry, the humidity inevitably rises. And this must be removed from the rooms as quickly as possible. Otherwise, there is a risk of it condensing in the walls and forming mould. An electric dehumidifier such as the Lukas Pro can help you solve the problem.

Dehumidifier for large areas

The Lukas Pro dehumidifier from Stadler is designed for areas of up to 175 square metres. According to the manufacturer, the device extracts up to 50 litres of water from the air every day. It optionally ends up in a tank with a capacity of just over five litres. If you don't want to empty the tank regularly, you also have the option of draining the water directly into the drain via a hose supplied. If the tank is full, the appliance switches off automatically.

The air flows through a HEPA filter, which is said to remove over 99.99 per cent of airborne germs. The motor and heat exchanger are dimensioned so that, according to the manufacturer, they exchange the air in a room of 130 square metres once an hour.

How to use the device

You can either control the Lukas Pro directly via a touch panel on the device or you can use the manufacturer's app. This allows you to keep an eye on the air quality in your home even when you're out and about. You can choose whether the device should only purify the air or also dehumidify it at the same time.

The integrated particle sensor continuously measures the air and provides feedback via a traffic light system: White for good, yellow for average and red for poor air quality.

Special modes for the night and drying laundry

The 18-kilogram appliance has two special additional features. If you are drying laundry at home, you can activate a suitable mode. According to the manufacturer, this not only prevents the risk of mould. The laundry should even dry faster because moisture is permanently removed from the air.

A special night mode is also available so that the noise doesn't prevent you from sleeping. The Lukas Pro measures 382 × 650 × 287 millimetres and has four power levels. Stadler specifies the power consumption as 545 watts.
