A watch for every occasion

The Zurich-based brand «Zizzo Watches» produces wristwatches that chime with the zeitgeist: they're modern and based on traditional values.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Luca and Dominique Reho invested everything in realising their dream of an own watch brand made in Switzerland. What started off as a hobby turned into a market-ready product in 2016.
But in 2011, instead of their watches, the «Zizzo Watches» brand logo took centre stage. «Before I started designing, I took time to think about the logo and our story», Luca tells me. «I wanted something to guide me during the development phase. My logo helped me do that and gave me the necessary drive».
«Today, a watch is not only there to make sure you’re on time. Watches have become an accessory.»
After a four-year development phase, the time had come: In 2015, the designs went into production. It had always been important for the couple to have a connection with Switzerland. Therefore, these quartz watches are manufactured in Solothurn under the «Swiss Made» label.
Minimalist
The focus of the two collections – the first was launched in 2016, the second two years later – is on timeless pieces with a minimalist design that go with any outfit. If this is not the case, you can adjust your watch by changing the leather, mesh or nylon strap – thanks to a quick-release spring bar. The stainless steel case comes in silver, gold rose gold or black.
Let’s get back to Dominique and Luca. The two founders are planning the future: «Our next project is lined up. In 2019, we will launch a new multifunction watch. With our DNA, of course.» Looks like we’re in for a treat.
