A short guide to mattresses
Find the mattress that meets your needs
It's hard to choose a mattress with the huge choice currently on the market. In this short guide, we present various types of mattress. An advantage not to be overlooked: our mattresses are delivered free to your door!
Pocket springs - the classic
Particularly stable pocket-spring mattresses are ideal for people who sleep on their stomachs and sides, and who like relatively hard mattresses. This type of mattress is optimal for those who perspire a lot at night: due to their high air permeability, moisture can be evacuated quickly.
Cold foam - for restless sleepers
Cold foam mattresses have particularly good insulation, which is optimal for people who get cold quickly at night. This type of mattress tends to be soft and absolutely silent - so it's recommended for restless sleepers. They offer optimum body support and quickly return to their original shape, making frequent changes of position a non-issue. These mattresses are also perfect for allergy sufferers: they are breathable and offer exceptional hygienic qualities.

Futon - for anyone who likes a really hard mattress
Those who like to sleep on very hard mattresses should consider buying a futon. This type of mattress is particularly suitable for men who sleep on their stomachs. A futon should be rolled up regularly to prevent it from hardening. Those who perspire a lot during the night should avoid this type of mattress, as moisture is poorly evacuated compared with other types of mattress.
Little piece of advice:
People who sleep on their back have different needs to those who sleep on their side or stomach: use our filter functions to find the right mattress for your type of sleep. The general rule for hardness: the greater the body weight, the harder the mattress should be.
When I’m not busy putting together home décor themes or planning marketing activities for Galaxus, I enjoy decorating my home with things I love and starting DIY projects I finish all too rarely. The inspiration I get comes from blogs, magazines and travels. My favourite home living styles: Nautical, Scandinavian and Nordic.
