A circle for herbs

I have found a new decorative element for my flat. Not only is it beautiful, but it also serves to dry my aromatic herbs.
Already last summer I complained about not knowing where and how to store the herbs I had on my balcony. A problem that can easily be solved, just by drying them. However, until now, I lacked something to hang them in. With the herb dryer from Burgon & Ball I found a way to store them and decorate my flat at the same time.

The system is easy: hang bunches of herbs on hooks arranged along the metal ring. Simple and beautiful. Find a shady, airy spot in your flat and attach the dryer to a hook on the ceiling. If you don't want to drill holes, there are also those to be glued on.

Even without the grasses, this particular item makes a nice impression. I particularly like its matt colour. To put it into operation immediately, I gather some herbs from my garden. I start with rosemary and dill. The bunches must be dry before they are tied together with string. Then hang them on one of the six hooks and wait three or four days.

Although patience is not one of my virtues, I don't mind waiting. This decorative element makes my living room even more cosy. The greenery makes the room seem more hospitable and when I walk past it, a pleasant scent envelops me. Even with flowers such as rose, poppy capsules or a bridal veil, it really makes a statement.

My life in a nutshell? On a quest to broaden my horizon. I love discovering and learning new skills and I see a chance to experience something new in everything – be it travelling, reading, cooking, movies or DIY.
