Printer cartridges 08/2018 - HP: Original set compared to third-party cartridges, tested with HP Officejet 3830 All-in-One

Stiftung Warentest has tested printer cartridges on several occasions. This has shown that not every printer accepts ink from third-party suppliers. Fortunately, this has changed in the current test of printer cartridges. In the test: 18 cartridges for inkjet printers from Brother, Canon, Epson and HP, including original cartridges and cheap ink from third-party suppliers (prices: 5 to 41 euros). Six cartridges deliver good printouts. Some cheap inks are also convincing. Users save up to 80 per cent.
