Digitec Galaxus uses four distinct type scales. Each scale serves a specific context, giving teams precise control over how typography supports different user experiences.
UI Typography is the basis. It applies to most text in the UI.
Product Typography is only applied to brands, prices and names. This is mostly used in product tiles and on the product detail page.
Magazine Typography applies exclusively to editorial content within articles. All other UI elements on those pages continue to use UI Typography.
Teaser Typography bridges editorial and browsing contexts, it draws readers into articles while remaining consistent with the surrounding UI.

#UI Typography: Type Scale
The UI Type Scale is the basis from which the other scales are derived. It contains a simple set of text sizes and a default weight style for each of the scale’s steps. Certain weight styles within the scale are restricted. These are marked in the type scale table and should not be used without explicit reason.
