Woolpower 400 Mittens Thin

The Mittens thin 400 are made from a simple Ullfrotté Original layer. The seam is on the outside to avoid pressure points. Combined with the fine merino material, this creates a pleasant wearing experience. These thicker garments are designed as a mid-layer to optimize thermal insulation between the "next-to-skin" functional underwear and the outer layer, which is worn for protection against wind and moisture. They are particularly useful in lower temperatures or during calmer activities.

Ullfrotté Original is a knitted terry fabric, with one side being smooth and the other consisting of terry loops. The airy terry loops combined with the crimped structure of the wool form a jersey knit that traps a lot of air, resulting in excellent insulation properties. The thicker the layer of air next to the body, the less body heat can escape.
