According to legend, Amethyst was on her way to the temple of Diana when she encountered an angry Bacchus, the Roman god of wine. When he attempted to strike her down, the goddess Diana intervened and transformed her into a clear stone. In his remorse, Bacchus poured red wine over the stone, turning it into a deep, striking violet.

A smooth amethyst sits at the front of this classic men's signet ring. When you tilt the ring towards the light, you can see brighter purple and silver speckles beneath the surface. On each side of the stone, you will find intertwined patterns reminiscent of the iconic arches of Greek and Roman architecture.

This ring is made from polished surgical steel, making it very durable and scratch-resistant. As the amethyst is a natural stone, slight color variations may occur.
