The leather of these slides has been tanned with olive leaves. This is an ecologically sustainable and natural leather tanning process based on a renewable raw material. Good to know: The leaves are abundantly available as a byproduct during the annual olive harvest in Mediterranean countries and have mostly been burned until now.
