Consists of 100% recycled polyester obtained from recycled plastic bottles, which are shredded into flakes in a Brazilian factory and then processed into fibers. It takes three plastic bottles to make one pair of VEJAs. B-Mesh is a lightweight, breathable and water-repellent fabric. Cotton serves as a leather substitute. This material is a vegan alternative to leather. A canvas made of 100% organic cotton, coated with P.U., corn starch and castor oil. 54% bio-based. Sourced from the state of São Paulo in Jacareí, this suede is a 100% vegan synthetic textile and an alternative to animal-derived suede. It is a non-woven fabric made of microfibers needled together and impregnated with P.U. resin. This solvent-free process is less toxic than the processes used to produce classic synthetic suede.
