Product details

The B-Mesh is made from 100% recycled polyester sourced from recycled plastic bottles, which are processed into flakes and then fibers in a factory in Brazil. It takes 3 plastic bottles to make one pair of Veja shoes. B-Mesh is a lightweight, breathable, and waterproof fabric. The leather and suede come from farms in Rio Grande do Sul and are tanned in Brazil according to REACH standards. Water usage during the tanning process is justified. The tanneries supplying Veja leather are certified by the Leather Working Group with L.W.G. Gold, promoting sustainable practices that have a positive impact on the environment in tanneries.
