CWL means: Cotton processed as leather. This material is a vegan alternative to leather. A canvas made of 100% organic cotton, coated with PU, corn starch, and castor oil. 54% bio-based. The suede sourced from Jacareí in the state of São Paulo is a 100% vegan synthetic textile and an alternative to animal-produced suede. It is a non-woven fabric made from microfibers that are needle-punched together and impregnated with PU resin. This solvent-free process is less toxic than the methods used to produce traditional synthetic suede.
