The Veja URCA women's sneaker features a durable lining made from 100% recycled plastic bottles, providing you with a pleasantly flexible wearing comfort thanks to its mesh structure. The upper material uses innovative C.W.L., a vegan leather alternative made from organic farming by a specialized Italian company. This material consists of cotton coated with plant-based PU, which is made up of 50% corn waste from the food industry and 50% regular PU.

The brand Veja (pronounced: "vehsah") was founded to create shoes with a new concept, ensuring that neither the seamstresses and producers nor nature suffer during production. Therefore, all production takes place in Brazil, where Veja collaborates with producers of organic cotton and natural rubber. These producers are informed in advance about how much they will be paid per kilo for their products. The shoes are then sewn in factories that adhere to the rules of the International Labour Organization. This makes the production of a Veja sneaker five times more expensive than that of a conventional sneaker.

Thanks in part to stars like Emma Watson, Katie Holmes, Meghan Markle, and Emily Ratajkowski, who wear Veja shoes and sneakers, they have become a trendy fashion statement.
