The Veja SDU REC men's sneaker combines sustainable manufacturing with refined functionality. The upper is made entirely from Alveomesh, a fabric derived from recycled plastic bottles, which excels in breathability, flexibility, and lightness. The tech inner lining is also made from 100% recycled plastic bottles and provides excellent abrasion resistance. Its mesh structure additionally ensures maximum comfort and high flexibility.

The brand Veja (pronounced: "vehscha") was founded to create shoes with a new concept that does not harm either the seamstresses and producers or nature. Therefore, all production takes place in Brazil, where Veja collaborates with producers of organic cotton and natural rubber. These producers are informed in advance about how much they will be paid per kilogram for their products. The shoes are then sewn in factories that adhere to the rules of the International Labour Organization. This makes the production of a Veja sneaker five times more expensive than that of a conventional sneaker.
