What is apple leather? Apple leather is an innovative, versatile, and high-performance material made from apple waste from the juicing industry. The apples used for the apple leather are grown in the beautiful region of South Tyrol in northern Italy and processed in the stunning Tuscany, near Florence. The skin, core, and dried pulp are the remnants after the pressing process. Our vegan apple leather is made from these fibers, containing up to 31% organic apple waste.

Why is apple leather so sustainable? Apple leather is a sustainable material because we create a new product from waste material, thus reducing the amount of waste that ends up in landfills. This not only saves costs associated with waste disposal and the environmental damage it causes, but these natural waste materials also replace other chemically derived raw materials in the product, lowering emissions and energy consumption throughout the production chain.
