Two layers are built into these gloves to keep your hands warm. The outer layer is knitted from acrylic and protects your hands from cold elements such as snow, ice and hail. The inner lining consists of 3M 40g Thinsulate lining. Thinsulate is known for keeping hands warm and is considered one of the most effective linings. The purpose of the lining is to keep warm air inside the gloves and keep the hot air close to your skin. The ribbed cuff on the gloves is tight enough to prevent the warm air from escaping, but not too tight to be uncomfortable. This fingerless THMO glove version is available in addition to the full finger version of THMO. The fingerless part of the glove is twisted and knitted with care to prevent it from unravelling easily. Having your fingers free makes it easier to perform outdoor activities, work, drive, walk the dog or anything else that keeps your hands warm while increasing breathability and finger freedom. They also have the THMO badge sewn on the side of the cuff.
